Love some of the icons on this list, including Ernie Barnes, Gordon Parks & Miles Davis (who I’ve both previously covered), and especially awesome, a vintage snap of Arctic explorer (!!) Matthew Henson:

I’m def going to make an effort to profile more stylish Black folks in coming days/weeks/years.

I’m sure that if a brotha was rocking furs (granted, for warmth) and pinky rings (um, totally styling out with the polar bears!) in the Arctic back in the day, I can find a uber-explosion of bon chic, bon genre from us coloured folk!
